How to Sit Back, Relax & Remove Fat Without Exercise, Surgery, Liposuction, or Painful Invasive Procedures

The events of the holiday season are beginning to fade into memory. For many of us, the holiday decorations have been put away, and family visiting from out of town have returned to home. Unfortunately, there is one reminder of the joys of the holidays that may not fade as fast; weight gain. Let’s be honest; perhaps even before the holidays, you thought it was time to lose those extra pounds. Maybe you have tried in the past and failed. Maybe there are underlying issues that make weight loss or the subsequent maintenance a challenge. Whatever the reason, as you step on the scales on January first, you realize its time to do something once and for all. So now, what are your options?

There are many weight loss alternatives open for consideration. Some are certainly harder to stick to than others; others come with highly dangerous side effects. To understand how non-invasive options can be beneficial, it is essential to briefly address the types of invasive options.

Non-Invasive Procedures

CoolSculpting

Studies show that CoolSculpting is a highly effective fat reduction procedure that does not require surgical intervention or the painful recovery associated with such procedures. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure that helps to remove extra fat cells from beneath the skin. The secret behind CoolSculpting is the process called Cryolipolysis. During CoolSculpting, a roll of fat is placed between two panels that cool the fat to a freezing temperature. During a 2009 study, it was found that this process reduced the size of the treated fat layer by as much as 25%. All without surgery! The study also showed that the results of the procedure were still present six months after treatment. The fat cells that no longer exist as a result of the freezing process are excreted through the liver within several weeks of the treatment. Consequently, it can take up to three months before the full results of the procedure are visible.

People typically use CoolSculpting to treat similar parts of the body to liposuction. This would include thighs, lower back, belly, and sides (or love handles). Unlike liposuction, it can also reduce the appearance of cellulite on the arms, thighs, buttocks, and underneath the skin.

Perhaps the best part of CoolSculpting is the duration of results. They can last forever; yes, forever. After CoolSculpting has killed off the fat cells, these cells will not return, so long as you maintain your body weight.

Velashape

Velashape is another type of non-surgical, non-invasive procedure used to contour specific areas of the body. As with CoolSculpting, Velashape is clinically proven and works on areas of the body that are typically resistant to other weight loss methods such as diet and exercise. These include the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks; all the areas where we wish it were easier to firm up and shrink down. Velashape involves the use of infrared light, radiofrequency, and massage rollers and suctioning. Combined, these elements are used to contour the body and provide a reduction in visible cellulite. Velashape is different from CoolSculpting as it uses heat as opposed to cold to help contour the body. The radio frequencies emitted during the procedure heat up the fat cells causing them to melt and break apart. The fat is naturally excreted out of the body over the course of a few weeks.

Exercise

Committing to an exercise routine is hard. How many times have you (or someone you know) joined the gym or bought one of those annual work out at home memberships only to use it once and then never again touch your gym bag? To reach your fitness goals through proper diet and exercise takes time (sometimes a lot of time), commitment and persistence. These are hard things to maintain when the mirror never seems to show a different reflection. Even the best-laid plans can fail for various reasons, including cost, negative self-image, comparing oneself to other gym-goers, failure to set short term goals, and underestimating the time required to achieve the long-term goals.

So, how can you lose weight and not have to subject yourself to the gym, early morning cardio, or invasive medical interventions? Look no further than Solaralaser. We offer two different body sculpting options that are entirely non-invasive and do not require any time on the Stairmaster.

Invasive Procedures

Weight loss surgery

Weight loss surgery or bariatric surgery helps a person to lose weight and lowers their chances of developing various medical problems that are directly associated with obesity. Bariatric surgery helps with successful weight loss in two ways. First, through caloric restriction. The process of surgery decreases the size of your stomach and restricts the amount of food it can hold, thus, reducing your overall caloric intake. Second, through malabsorption. The surgical process can also be used to shorten or bypass a portion of your small intestine. This is the part of the digestive system where most calories and nutrients are absorbed. Through this reduction, the number of calories your body absorbs is reduced.

There are various types of bariatric surgery, and the appropriate version is chosen depending on the needs of the individual. However, weight loss surgery is not a suitable solution for everyone. There are specific qualifications one must meet to be eligible, including having a weight that classifies as morbidly obese or at least 100 pounds over your ideal body weight. There are also significant risks associated with bariatric surgery, and your doctor would need to evaluate whether you are an appropriate candidate.

Liposuction

Liposuction or “lipo” is a surgical procedure that uses suction to remove fat from specific areas of the body, including the stomach, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms, or neck. Through specialized equipment and techniques, the liposuction process shapes these areas to more closely meet the ideal shape and size. Generally, liposuction is not the first choice as a go-to weight-loss method or even a weight loss alternative. Most patients will need to lose excess weight if they are overweight before having liposuction. Most candidates for liposuction have a stable body weight but too many fat deposits in certain areas of the body. Liposuction can also be used for breast reduction purposes.

Liposuction works by reducing the number of fat cells in the area that is treated. The amount of fat removed will depend on the volume of fat in the area and the appearance of the area. Provided the patient can retain a stable weight; the results of the liposuction process will often remain permanent. Liposuction does not improve the appearance of cellulite dimpling or other irregularities of the skin surface. Liposuction is also not without risks, which can include permanent numbness, infection, internal puncture, and fat embolisms, among others

If you have struggled with traditional weight loss methods or considered surgical procedures to help you reach your goals, CoolSculpting or Velashape may be right for you. As noted above, surgery is not right for everyone; and not a pleasant experience. In many cases, CoolSculpting or Velashape can offer similar results to liposuction without the invasiveness, discomfort, or recovery time.
